冬瓜肉碎汤 Winter Melon Soup with Pork Balls










Ingredients:

500 gm         Winter Melon (Cut in cube)
1/2  pc          Carrot (Cut in cube)
1.2  litres       Broth (Already with taste)
200 gm        Minced Pork (or chicken)
   3 stalks      Chopped Parsley


Marinade Ingredients (A):
1/2 tbsp        Light Soy Sauce
1/2 tbsp        Corn Starch
1/2 tbsp        Chinese cooking Wine
1/2 tbsp        Sesame Oil
A Dash of White Pepper

Method:

1)  Marinade the minced meat with the ingredients in (A).
2)  Shape into individual meat ball (each about 1 tbsp size). Set aside.
3)  Trim and discard the skin and inner seeds of winter melon.
4)  Cut winter melon flesh to large, bite-sized cubes.
5)  Bring to boil the broth, add in winter melon cubes & carrot cubes cook till soft.
6)  Then add pork balls, one at a time, making sure they don't stick to one another.
7)  Cook for about 3 minutes.
8)  Garnish with some parsley, served in hot.
