荷叶饭 Lotus Leaves Rice










1      kg     Glutinous Rice - Soak for 2 - 3 hours. Wash, filter & set aside.
10    cloves      Minced Garlic
20    nos         Minced Onion
  1    pc           Minced Ginger
300  g            Sliced Pork - Marinade with soy sauce, pepper, sesame oil & cornflour
    6 pcs          Chinese Sausage - Slice it
  10 pcs          Dried Mushroom - Soak, wash & slice it. Save the water.
Salt
Chicken Stock - Optional
Soy Sauce
Dark Soy Sauce
Lotus Leaves - Soak, wash, boiled & rinse. Set aside.

1)  Heat Oil stir-fry the garlic, onion & ginger till fragrant then add in sliced pork & dried mushroom.
2)  Add in the glutinous rice, continuous stir-fry.
3)  Well mix dark soy sauce to the glutinous rice.
4)  Add in mushroom water that you save, salt, soy sauce, chicken stock to taste.
5)  Last, add in Chinese sausage & well mix.
6)  Steam for 30 minutes.
7)  Take out cold down, wrap with lotus leaves & steam back again for another 30 minutes.
8)  Served it hot.
