马蹄玉竹猪肚米粉汤 Rice Noodles In Water Chest Nut, Polygonatum & Pig Tripe Soup

 

Ingredients:
    1 no        Pig Tripe (猪肚)
300 g          Water Chest Nut (马蹄)
  50 g          Polygonatum (玉竹)
600 g          Spareribs (排骨)
    2 nos       Whole Garlic
    2 liter       Water
    1 pkt        Rice Noodles

To Taste:
Salt

Method:
1)  Wash pig tripe with salt or vinegar, rinse it then put in
      a pan to cook for 5 to 10 minutes.

2)  Rinse the pig tripe with water and pat dry.  Set aside.

3)  Blanch the spareribs, rinse it, then pat dry. Set aside.

4)  Peel and wash the water chest nut.

5)  Bring water to boil, put in all the above ingredients
      and boil for 3 to 4 hours. Then taste with salt.

6)  Blanch  rice noodles in boiling water and serve with the
     above soup.
